Australian Christians Party in Rockingham

If you’ve come here it’s probably because I sent you a link.

My name is Tim Pearce, I am the Australian Christians Party candidate for Rockingham in the upcoming state election.

My primary role as candidate is to promote the work of Australian Christians, pray for our state and nation, and provide a genuine voting option for Christians in the area. With our voting system, a vote for Australian Christians is NOT a lost or wasted vote. Collectively, our voices can make an impact. Experience has taught us that the single biggest factor that increases our vote is the presence of AC during early voting at polling booths and signage throughout our suburbs. And it is primarily for that effort that I am seeking your support.

Early voting starts on Monday 24th February. In Rockingham we expect there will be 10 polling booths, including the pre-polling booth, on election day. Typically, it takes about 8-10 people to cover a booth for a day – two people at a time; doing two hours each. Hence, I ideally need to find at least 100 volunteers.

I am still quite short of volunteers. I am not asking you to promote Australian Christians explicitly and I realise that many churches will not do this, however our biggest supporters are to be found in the churches and thus I seek your assistance to reach out to these people.

I have two suggested church notices:-

Vote Wisely:
With our State Election imminent The Australian Christian Values Institute have released a ‘Christian Values Checklist’ outlining some policy positions (where known) of the parties.  The guide focuses on some key moral issues, including abortion, euthanasia, family values and freedom of faith.  [A copy is available in the church foyer.]  You can download it from https://christianvalues.org.au/checklists/current-elections/.
In addition Family Voice have published a guide which you can read at https://familyvoice.org.au/elections/wa-election-2025.
Consider casting your first preference for a Christian voice in Parliament. Be informed, and vote prayerfully and wisely.
